This ancient mansion has large spaces both inside and outside: the most fascinating areas are: the magnificent hall entirely frescoed Trompe-l'oeil with original silk lounges from the ancient Seteria Reale of San Leucio, chandelier, original 19th century furniture and accessories, the private room of the Marquis, which can be visited on request but cannot be used due to the precarious condition of the Papier Peint from the end of the 18th century, which will have to undergo a radical restoration, probably in 2024. The villa comes with an Italian garden that has got magnificent poplars with branches grafted to form arches and the huge terrace. It is also equipped with a hydromassage tub for guests to relax.

The villa has 3 bedrooms, two of which are original, equipped with precious furniture and accessories owned by the family for generations. The third, created in the tower, in the 1990s.

Each bedroom is equipped with a Smart TV. Another Smart TV is present in the small living room adjacent to the lounge, where guests can relax in front of the Smart TV all together on the sofa and the two armchairs.

In the dining room exit a large table and original chairs bearing the coat of arms of the House of Gravina, carved on wood and the imposing glass cabinet which houses part of the Gravina collection of ancient ceramics and porcelains.

From a small corridor, adjacent to the dining room, separated by an elegant sliding glass door that vanished when open, you can access the service rooms:

the splendid kitchen, equipped and complete with all comforts, also furnished with original pieces from the 19th century and the first decades of the 20th century, made efficient with modern appliances.

Finally, the laundry-ironing room, with washing machine, iron and everything needed for minor cleaning (broom, dustpan, rags, buckets, vacuum cleaner)

To complete the comforts of this splendid home, there are two bathrooms.

The salle de bain with bathtub and shower cubicle, on the lower floor and the small, but complete with everything, second bathroom on the tower.

GUEST ACCESS

Guests will have free access to all rooms with the exception of the Marquis's private room which requires radical restoration work on the Papier Peint. For these reasons, it will not be possible to guarantee free access to this room but it can be visited at check-in or, upon request, at another time, in the presence of Villa Gravina’s management staff.

Villa Gravina is a house-museum, a historic property with profound cultural value. Everything inside has enormous value, as well as economic and cultural. For this reason, we ask our most welcome guests to enjoy their holidays by making an effort of prudence and caution towards everything that will remain at their disposal during their stay. We ask the guests to be very cooperative and understanding, also with respect to the rules of closing all the openings of the Residence; doors or windows must always be locked every time you leave the house; it is necessary to always remember this.
